ESSENCE, the number one media company dedicated to African-American women, invites all fashionistas to its 3rd annual ESSENCE Street Style Block Party, taking place during New York Fashion Week. The event will celebrate real women with head-turning style during a day-long affair.

During the event, which brings one of the brand’s most popular editorial franchises to life, ESSENCE will present its 2016 Street Style Award to the hottest bloggers, designers, fashion stylists and trendsetters whom we can’t get enough of, including: singer Kelly Rowland, celeb stylist Law Roach, dancer/actress Khadija Shari, fashion blogger Blake Von D and designer Romeo Hunte.

Throughout the outdoor extravaganza, the ESSENCE Street Style Block Party will feature a mix of music, fashion, art and culture, including:
-Performance by singer Ayo Jay
-Live fashion show co-hosted by actress Naturi Naughton, from the hit STARZ TV series “POWER”, showcasing the best of attendee street style
-Shopping experience featuring local vendors and designers
