Hear from Sarah Lacy, author of A Uterus Is a Feature, Not a Bug: The Working Woman’s Guide to Overthrowing the Patriarchy(release date: November 14) and founder of Pando, in conversation with Miko Branch, author of Miss Jessie’s: Creating a Successful Business from Scratch – Naturally and CEO and cofounder of award-winning haircare brand Miss Jessie’s, talk about their books and how they learned to be successful at work and in business from lessons learned on the frontlines of parenthood.

The conversation will be moderated by Anthonia Akitunde, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Mater Mea.

A Uterus Is a Feature, Not a Bug is being described as the rally cry of working mothers everywhere. Sarah Lacy will discuss her strategies for capitalizing on maternal strength to combat micro-indignities, macro-aggressions, and everything in between. Similarly, Miss Jessie’s is a memoir and business guide full of both inspirational life lessons and business advice for the burgeoning entrepreneur. Miko Branch will share her story of how she thrived as a single mother all while founding a multi-million dollar company that has revolutionized the hair care industry.

Both titles will be available for purchase at the event, and the authors will be signing books following the discussion!
