Join us this Saturday, as artist and author will.i.am brings you an in-depth look of the VR adaption of the graphic novel, “Black Eyed Peas Present: Masters of the Sun.”
Premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, “Masters of the Sun – Virtual Reality Experience” mixes L.A. gang culture, b-boy-ism and Egyptology to tell the tale of a hip-hop group from East L.A. who must battle an ancient, alien god which turns drug dealers and gangsters into zombies.
Hear from will.i.am, the mind behind the original print story and some of the all-star voice cast members including Rakim, Pete Rock and illustrator, Damian Scott as they give their perspective on how this project has defied barriers.
Following the panel, experience “Masters of the Sun” like never before. Explore Samsung 837 to see the graphic novel come to life through augmented reality. Watch clips of the film on a Gear VR powered by Oculus at our virtual reality stations. We’ll provide you with an immersive viewing experience and for some participants, a surprise takeaway.
