‘@FoodMoves and @Komeeda Proves Adult Ice Cream Parties Are Best Kind Of Parties

This past Saturday, Food Moves and Komeeda hosted an Adult Ice Cream Party. What exactly went down? No, people weren’t getting frisky with the ice cream, but they were definitely getting inventive with the serving.

And by that, we mean they combined various ice cream flavors to create some boozy shakes and floats. Let’s talk about these awesome concoctions.

Options included:

• Crankin’ Caramel: Vegan salted caramel ice cream, Bailey’s, dash of cherry bitters and a cherry on top
• Honey Comb Crunch: Jameson, honey comb ice cream, crunched peanut garnish and lemon juice
• Rooty Boozy Float: Root beer, light rum, scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough, runchata and a dash of angostura bitters
• Creamsicle Crash: Vanilla ice cream, orange soda, vodka, and a dash of angostura bitters
• Official Adult Ice Cream Party Cocktail: Dulce pineapple jalapeno tequila, vanilla ice cream and lemon-lime soda

There were also some other drink options from Dulce Vida Tequila, including Lime Refresher (Dulce Vida lime tequila and sparkling water), Perfect Paloma (Dulce Vida grapefruit tequila, seltzer, and lemon-lime soda), and I Love Tequila (Dulce Vida blanco tequila, seltzer and fresh squeezed orange juice).

Van Leeuwen, the famous NYC vegan ice cream company, provided the amazing ice cream included in the drinks and even served scoops from their truck on the side (in case you didn’t feel like mixing your booze and bites).

The whole event took place in a warehouse in Brooklyn, giving it an incredible hipster vibe, which only made everything more fun.
