Join us at LMHQ for a very special women’s breakfast (our final of the season!) with Ashley C. Ford: writer, speaker and host! Our conversation will be moderated by writer and publicist Carla Bruce-Eddings.

Ashley writes incredibly brave personal narratives and essays, and has penned pieces for New York Magazine, Elle, and Lenny Letter, has been featured on podcasts like The Longest Shortest Time, and worked as a staff writer for Buzzfeed and Refinery29. She recently inspired us with her CreativeMornings talk on courage, truth, and about the bravery that’s required to begin being honest with yourself.

She’s currently writing a memoir, Somebody’s Daughter(published by Flatiron Books under the imprint An Oprah Book), about girlhood in Indiana and growing up with an incarcerated father. We can’t wait to hear from Ashley about her approach to writing, and how she creates art and content from a place of truth.

Doors open at 8:30am for bagels and coffee and an opportunity for networking, and our panel kicks off at 9am sharp.
