Pharrell Williams is doing is again. In collaboration with adidas, his Hu Series Collection is dropping later this week, taking inspiration from Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, and marking the beginning of spring in India.

To give you more context behind the designs, the use of powdered colors which festival goers throw in the air and at each other during Holi symbolizes unity, good fortune and happiness, among others.

Influenced by this, adidas and Pharrell are dropping four apparel styles and five variations of footwear, as well as a special Hu Holi beach towel, which will be available at all BBC Flagships on Friday March 16th. This follows the release of the Hu Holi Blank Canvas Collection, late February.

The BBC NYC Flagship in Soho celebrated this release earlier this month, with Hip Hop/Indian sounds by DJ Sharad, Indian Hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and a DIY tie-dye station. You can listen to DJ Sharad’s mixtape, CONNECTED, “Paying Homage to Pharrell’s Holi inspired collection with adidas”.  If you’re looking to cop your own pair from the collection in person, the BBC NYC Flagship is located in Soho at 7 Mercer Street.
