Calling all whiskey lovers! If your favorite drink or cocktail is made with Jameson or Jim Beam and you missed the 2nd Annual Whiskey Feast last weekend, you’re probably kicking yourself right now. Cannonball Productions, known for the Bacon and Beer Classic and Taco Takeover, brought the critically acclaimed food and liquor fest to NYC’s Hudson Terrace. No corner of the venue was free of food, drinks, or a good time.
All those who came to the spanning Hudson Terrace, got a chance to taste experimental fall-inspired foods, and meet other fellow whiskey lovers. Guests chose between 3 2-hour windows to indulge and everyone was treated to a sweeping view of the Hudson River.
Upon entering, attendees received a mini mason jar and a drink ticket. Vendors poured various kinds of unlimited whiskey (at your own risk) and companies who whipped up their own whiskey cocktails could be visited once and the same goes for food as well. There was no way to leave Whiskey Feast sober and it was all worth it.
Eats included jerk chicken burgers, chicken and waffles, whiskey -infused ice cream (courtesy of Tipsy Scoop) and much more. To keep the party going, the festival had a DJ playing everything from Michael Jackson to Beyonce; a spin art artist customizing old vinyls with your favorite color combinations; a temporary tattoo station; and the highlight of our night: the delicious donut wall.
Keeping in tune with the holiday spirit, all of the leftover food was donated to NYC homeless and others in need by way of City Harvest. Whiskey Feast was a great way to appreciate the Fall spirit and get ready for the holidays.
