Together, the Tompkins Square Park Dog Run (TSPDR) organizers and Get Joy are thrilled to announce that the iconic 2023 Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade is back on and better than ever! An experiential area will be created across the parade route, providing attendees with a PAW-some array of activities, services, and sample stations.

Get Joy will join the lineup alongside Watt and other esteemed judges for the costume contest. Additionally, they will provide incredible prizes for winners of various costume contest categories, including Best in Show, People’s Choice, Most Creative, and more.

Circle Line is hosting their second Pup cruise allowing all guests to bring their dog on board to join them on a cruise to the Statue of Liberty!

They’re inviting all passengers (both human and dog) to dress to impress in their very best Halloween costumes! The most out-of-the-box and original costumes will win prizes and treats for dogs. During the 90-minute cruise, dressed-up humans and pups will be able to dance along to their DJ with Halloween and dog-inspired music.

Featuring an interactive community altar, traditional Calavera imagery in a DIY printmaking activity, Día de Muertos face painting transformation, sugar skull decorating (Calaverita de Azucar) to take home or to place on the altar, and enter a giveaway for a chance to win one (1) $100 gift card to one (1) of the following local restaurants: Cosme, Tortazo, Mamazul, SOL Mexican Cocina, or MEXiCUE.
