The Feast of San Gennaro is back, for its 96th year! Featuring blocks of Italian and local food and drink, carnival games, eating contests, live music, and more!
The Feast of San Gennaro celebrates the life of San Gennaro of Naples who was Bishop of Benevento, Italy, and was martyred in 305AD. The Grand Marshall for the 2022 Feast of San Gennaro is Former NASA Astronaut, Michael J. Massimino. This year’s theme will be Celebrating America and Honoring Armed Forces.
24th Annual Cannoli Eating Contest- September 16th, 1pm
The Grand Procession- September 17th, 2pm
3rd Annual Zeppole Eating Competition- September 21st 1pm
2nd Annual Pizza Eating contest- September 23rd, 1pm
5th Annual Meatball Eating Contest- September 25th, 1pm
Plus a ton of live music!
Location: The Feast of San Gennaro takes place on Mulberry Street (Little Italy) between Canal and Houston AND on Hester between Baxter St. and Centre St. AND Grand between Baxter St. and
Centre Market Place.
Hours: Sunday- Thursday 11am-11pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-12am
