The Seaport Food Lab presented by Chase Sapphire is returning for Season 5! This anticipated culinary event will bring some of the internet’s favorite food stars to the kitchen for a series of intimate dinners. This year’s chef lineup includes slow food advocate Pierce Abernathy, Bon Appétit’s former senior food editor and Test Kitchen host Christina Chaey, and chef-slash-artist DeVonn Francis. Exploring themes of culture and community, this year’s event is a chance to enjoy culinary creativity at its very best in an intimate setting.

Tickets are limited to 50 seats per night, and include drinks.

The Seaport Food Lab is a chance for the food industry’s most talented chefs to enjoy true creative freedom, delivering an unparalleled series of one-of-a-kind dining experiences to guests in Lower Manhattan. Calling on hungry foodies and inquisitive diners—local to or visiting New York—the recurring pop-up began in 2017. In the years since, a roster of acclaimed and rising culinary stars have been invited to showcase their vision of a perfect meal and experiment with their favorite ingredients in new and unexpected ways.


Pierce Abernathy, @pierceabnerathy (November 2nd-5th): Cook, recipe developer, content creator, and model, Pierce Abernathy shares a vignette into his cooking style through seasonal plant-forward recipes. With over a half million followers across Instagram and TikTok, Pierce pushes his followers to play an active role in their food systems and feeling more connected to the earth by teaching techniques in food waste, foraging, and cultivating relationships with local farms. Largely self-taught, Pierce’s path into the culinary arts was carved by a combination of his own curiosity, a seasonal approach to food, and his Armenian heritage.

Christina Chaey, @seechaey (November 6th-9th): Former Senior Food Editor at bon appetit, Christina Chaey has made a name for herself as one of the most sought-after culinary accounts to follow on Instagram with her mouthwatering recipes and viral video remakes. Christina developed a deep love for sustainably farmed local, and seasonal produce as a line cook at the former Untitled at the Whitney Museum of American Art. In her free time, Christina enjoys riding around NYC on her bike and visiting the city’s green markets for the best local produce.

DeVonn Francis, @tuna_turner (November 16th-19th): DeVonn Francis is the chef and Founding Director of Yardy World, a culinary studio that specializes in creating immersive food experiences and reimagining Caribbean cuisine. Known for his sharp sense of style both on and off the plate on Instagram, DeVonn has created menus and produced events for some of the industry’s biggest brands, including Gucci, Converse, and Burberry.
