Ghostly International and House Of Vans present a day program of special workshops and talks focused on introducing area youth to avenues of contemporary music production and DJing as well as professional avenues to explore in the music world.
This event is free to the public and will be a fun and informative chance to get to know more about the music world as well as ask questions of working music professionals. The day is capped off with the film equivalent of a love letter to youth culture in NYC, Style Wars, the definitive 1983 documentary on graffiti featuring a talkback panel with members of the film and contemporary NYC arts and music culture.
