Superfrico
The first being located in the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Superfrico offers reimagined coastal Italian recipes with a fearless detour of flavors, served alongside creative cocktails, original art, and world-class entertainment.
Located literally in the backstage and dressing rooms of Spiegelworld’s The Hook theatre at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, Superfrico is created to be a place for patrons to dine before or after seeing The Hook show, where the lines of entertainment, dining, and partying are beautifully tangled. Executive Chef Anna Altieri has teamed with Chef Nick Faucher to create a menu featuring unexpected takes on classic Italian-American dishes, delectable frico-crusted pizzas, fresh pasta incorporating heritage grains, and an array of other enticing options. Served with the power of nostalgia for Grandma’s cooking, the multi-sensory melting pot of aromas, tastes, and textures add to the your ultimate, be-all, end-all, taste-all house party.
The menu at the new Atlantic City home for Spiegelworld’s celebrated restaurant is like hitching a psychedelic ride from central Italy in a Ferrari 458 Speciale and roaring around the hairpin turns of Positano, with unexpected flavors meeting the catch of the day from the waters of the Amalfi Coast. Menu highlights include Ora King Salmon Crudo with homemade XO sauce and citrus; Crab Gravy Pasta with blue crab and spaghetti alla chitarra; Joyce Farms Bolognese with pappardelle and lemony ricotta; Aqua Pazza with tomato water, poached Chilean sea bass, and sea beans; a Hot Seafood Tower loaded with lobster, Dungeness crabs, and oysters; and the Hackney’s Deviled Crab Square, Superfrico’s signature Detroit-style pizza topped with jumbo lump crab, chives, and tarragon. Signature desserts and late-night finales include a Lemon Meringue Tiramisu with toasted meringue, lemon curd, and almond orgeat, and a Fennel Ice Cream topped with yuzu olive oil and Maldon salt.
Standout favorites from the Las Vegas Superfrico menu also make an appearance, including a Tableside Mozzarella experience featuring a pound of fresh Belgioioso curd pulled and stretched before you and served with an assortment of accouterments, and a ponzu marinated Chicken Parm, coated in breadcrumbs and topped with spicy marinara and housemade mozzarella.
Also to come in the fall, the menu will offer a family-style chef’s selection, perfect for groups enjoying a night out at The Hook. Served alongside a salad, two sides, and dessert, you will be able to choose your own entree from Porchetta made with pork belly, fennel, and rosemary; Roast Lamb Shoulder with caramelized onion, fig, olive, and mint; Milk Braised Veal Chop with garlic confit, fennel and pancetta; or Anelletti Al Forno with confit tomato, bechamel, ricotta, and basil.
The cocktail program has been curated by Spiegelworld’s Executive of Beverage Niko Novick, who worked with iconic cocktail institutions including NoMad LA and Old Lighting. The signature serves feature fantastical creations that perfectly pair with Superfrico’s reimagined Italian cuisine. You enjoy cocktails within Superfrico as well as at the four bars located throughout The Hook, including Cheval de Plongée on the outdoor Boardwalk where patrons can also enjoy Chicken Parm and Caprese sandwiches while on the go. Signature libations include Coconut Grove, Saltwater Barnum, and Midnight Rambler.
Superfrico currently serves dinner from 5pm Wednesdays – Sundays. Reservations now open at superfrico.com/about-superfrico-ac.
The Hook
After dinner, once you step inside The Hook through its heritage 1929 facade, the line between experiences blur and bend as diners, bar patrons, and showgoers discover The Hook’s multitude of interconnected, imaginatively themed bars, lounges, and dining rooms.
Atlantic City’s iconic Warner Theatre is the city’s first and only permanent live entertainment destination. Operating every week of the year, The Hook venue features a world-premier live show with an international cast in a purpose-built 422-seat theatre. The Hook show is directed by Britain’s leading comedy director Cal McCrystal (Atomic Saloon Show, One Man Two Guvnors, the Paddington films). Riotously funny and seductively beautiful, the 75-minute show emits Spiegelworld’s signature blitz of the ridiculous, the funny, the jaw-dropping, and the superhuman.
The Hook venue is part of Caesars Entertainment’s $400 million investment in Atlantic City, including the region’s first Nobu restaurant and hotel project, the East Coast’s first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, over 700 newly appointed rooms and suites, a stunning new rooftop pool experience overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and more.
Tickets for The Hook show are now on sale, with performances every Wednesday through Sunday at 7pm and 9pm For more information on The Hook and to purchase tickets for the show, visit spiegelworld.com/thehook.
