The Hawaii-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, singer and all-around creative artist Kim Ann Foxman has proven to be a strong force in dance music.

As a highly sought after DJ, she’s equally likely to be found playing to intimate audiences as to huge festival crowds. She holds a highly regarded residency at Good Room in her home of Brooklyn and is a regular at Panorama Bar in Berlin, places where she is able to explore different sounds whilst still captivating the dancefloor.

When not behind the decks, Foxman focuses on producing original material with catchy hooks and haunting melodies from the grittier side of the house and techno spectrum. Her Firehouse Recordings imprint is responsible for a steady stream of mind-bending releases that are always in high demand. Now when she stops by The Lab NYC she’ll deliver the distinct style that’s garnered a cult-like following around the world. Trust, this one is going to be special.

Up next on Firehouse is a re-release of the 90s classic by Scott Richmond and John Selway present Psychedelic Research Lab titled ‘Keep On Climbin”. Originally released on Scott’s label Satellite Recordings in 1994, Kim has been playing the track for years and she’s now finally able to release it on her own imprint, complete with remixes by Deetron and herself. Look for it to be released May 11.

Warming up the evening is Amanda Mussi, who makes her way up from Brazil to bring us the gritty and gripping side to her sound profile that will perfectly compliment the evening’s raucous party.
