Join Office Field Trip (OFT), a new creative collective, on its debut immersive “outing” to Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Be a sleuth, with flashlight in hand, to explore the industrial and waterfront landscape of one of New York City’s oldest neighborhoods, including a futuristic expedition into what it could be. You get to decide!
The event will include light refreshments, local Red Hook tastes from HomeTown Barb-B-Que, design your own Thai summer rolls and more.
Office Field Trip (OFT) is composed of artists, designers and architects who are engaged in rigorous yet playful research in New York City. OFT seeks to inspire a new collaborative community that explores neighborhoods, landmarks and locations as an exciting field trip, constructively, critically and playfully. OFT was founded by a group of young professional friends from Stanford d.school, the Pratt Institute Graduate Architecture and Urban Design program, Parsons Strategic Design & Management program at The New School, and the School of Visual Arts.
Open to all; Field Trip is free.
