Celebrate the Heritage
Each year, thousands of New Yorkers join us for a day of festivities to celebrate Taiwanese American Heritage Week designated by the Congress in 1999. The Month of May is also the Asian American Heritage Month.

Join us!
Come take a trip to Taiwan without leaving New York, right over the Memorial Day Weekend Sunday! See you at Union Square!

PROGRAMMES
Stage Performances
Each year, we present the best Taiwanese American talents and as well as artists from Taiwan in the festival. We strongly encourage younger generations with dreams in performance to pursue it wholeheartedly and break the stereotype.

A Food Adventure
Small eats, and a lot of them, are the big thing in Taiwan. Recently voted by readers of CNN as the best food destination in the world, the culinary philosophy in Taiwan is to eat often and eat well. We offer a selection of Taiwan’s Small Eats in the festival for New Yorkers to try.

Fun for All
The festival is filled with activities for everyone, young and those slightly older. In the festival, participants can sample local delicacies, observe dough figurine makers and calligraphy masters at work in the arts & crafts area, learn about various organizations and agencies, play children’s games, learn about traditional Taiwanese toys in the interactive area, fold cranes in the kids workshop area, and learn more about Taiwan and Taiwanese Americans in the exhibition area.
