Last week Mackage brought one of the coolest block parties to the corner of Houston and Lafayette Streets, and when we say ‘Coolest Block Party’ we mean that literally, not figuratively. Mackage brought an interactive cold room experience to NYC, so consumers can interact with their outerwear brand. Mackage is a prestigious contemporary brand that elevates outerwear, by being as fashionable as it is functional. Just because winter is on its way doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style!

The interactive cold room experience is currently on tour, so they can possibly bring the cold to your city! This is essentially the best way to experience to craftsmanship and durability of their jackets. As you entered the space, you were greeted with a wind wall, as to feel the wind and cold of the North Pole. There was also a photo opportunity! We stood in front of the wind wall,a took a really fun GIF. It was quite the Beyonce moment!

Brand Ambassadors walked us through the landscape. Before entering the weather station, we picked a Mackage jacket from the FW19 Raw Power collection. Their jackets, designed to meet your every need, are made with warm insulating material and fleece pockets. Mackage jackets, pretty much quips anyone with the ability to face below zero temperatures with ease and style.

After we put on our favorite fashionable look, we ventured into the Mackage weather station; a recreation of the Northern Lights at the North Pole. The artful reimagining of the meteorological hubs blew us away. Complete with beautiful lights and sounds, it felt like we were really in the North Pole. Once inside, the sounds of the city faded away and the windy humming sounds of the Northern Lights surrounded us. Our Mackage jackets helped us endure the freezing temperatures, while looking chic. The giant mirror in the weather station was perfect for taking a quick selfie!

It’s not too late to pop into the Mackage Weather Station! While it is no longer in NYC, they will be venturing to other cities, follow them on social media to stay in the loop!
