Founded on a belief in the transformative power of queer storytelling, the Aesop Queer Library returns to select stores across the US and Canada. The ephemeral installation offers complimentary books by LGBTQIA2S+ authors and allies, no purchase required.

This year, the Aesop Queer Library celebrates the vibrant vocabularies crafted by LGBTQIA2S+ communities, and showcases the power of language as both a shelter and a declaration of defiance. We are supporting once again the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation—an organization instrumental in fighting censorship and advocating for freedom of speech and expression.

As in years past, they have partnered with Penguin Random House to source titles from a diverse range of queer authors. Aesop Rockefeller Center will see their shelves cleared of most products and stocked with books instead—along with aromatic accompaniments to enhance reading moments.
