CHANEL ‘No. 5 in the Stars’ Ice Rink

To mark the 100th anniversary of Chanel no.5, the house is transforming Rockefeller Center into a historical journey and celebration of the iconic fragrance.

Chanel invites you to stroll through an outdoor exhibition, learn the history of the iconic fragrance and have fun with a variety of activities in a uniquely festive ambiance. The Rockefeller Center Ice Rink will be dressed with the Chanel n°5 logo you can watch from above or skate across the famed mark below. Lining the walls of the rink will be a customized led screen, illuminating the atmosphere with an immersive star-scape.

You can also look forward to an installation articulating the evolution of the Chanel n°5 bottles over the decades, a pavilion space where the story of the famed fragrance is told in 4 chapters through text and video, and a photo moment of the renowned Rockefeller Center channel gardens.

In the n°5 in the stars lounge space, skaters will be able to enjoy hot chocolate and seasonal treats. You will gain access to a guided scent discovery, unique fragrance experiences, and a chance to try your luck at n°5 inspired games. Lastly, each evening at 5pm, you will be treated to a varied program of special animations.
