Collective x MATTE Projects Halloween: I Have a Secret to Share With You

The past two years have been both harrowing and transformative. This is a moment for reflection and release. For this, Collective x MATTE Projects are building a complete experience, the installation, the food, the cocktails, the location, and the interactions of this event are all crafted around one simple desire: catharsis.

For three nights, they will be taking over all three levels of the historic Angel Orensanz, on the lower east side of Manhattan. Constructed in 1850, the building’s interior was built to resemble the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. Each night will offer a similar program, with secrets shared on the mezzanine, an interactive installation on the main floor, and a dark, hedonistic dance party on the sub-level.

They are also developing a menu of passed hors d’oeuvre with Purslane, the first zero-waste, carbon-free caterer. Purslane is from the team behind Rucola, Jane, and Rhodora. The offering will include vegan options.
