Now in its 46th year, DanceAfrica presents a choreographic, sonic, and cinematic journey through the past and present of Ghanaian culture—like the symbol of the sankofa, looking back to look forward.

This Memorial Day weekend, the vibrant artistry and pathbreaking history of Ghana will electrify the streets and stages of Brooklyn for the nation’s largest festival dedicated to African diasporic dance and music.
