Ilegal Mezcal: Bar Ilegal Tour 2023

Ilegal Mezcal – the #1 mezcal in the world – is once again bringing its legendary Bar Ilegal tour on the road, this year celebrating 20(ish) years of Cafe No Sé, the original home of Ilegal Mezcal and the first mezcal bar opened outside of Mexico.

Bar Ilegal is an experiential outpost of Cafe No Sé, which was opened by Ilegal founder John Rexer and has become the beating heart of an international music scene in Antigua, Guatemala. At each Bar Ilegal pop-up, Ilegal Mezcal transforms venues into Café No Sé, complete with plenty of mezcal, specialty cocktails, live music by the iconic band SUSU, and tattoo artists on-site.

Gilbert Marquez, Ilegal’s Global BA and a recognized mezcal expert will be there to give a deep dive on mezcal education for anyone who wants to learn more about the agave spirit.

The tour is hitting Brooklyn at Public Records featuring live music by SUSU and free flash tattoos.
