Kaufman Music Center Open House

Kaufman Music Center will host the Adult Division Open House, an event designed to introduce prospective adult students to the music programs and opportunities offered at the Lucy Moses School (Manhattan’s largest community performing arts school for students of all ages).

If you want to learn an instrument for the first time, or continue studying your favorite piece of music with some of the city’s finest teachers, this is the place to do it! All levels are welcome, beginners are encouraged.

At the Open House, music curious adults will have the chance to:

• Have a free 10-minute private instrument lesson: Attendees can sign up for a mini-lesson with a faculty member to get a taste of individual instruction.

• Explore group classes: Information and demonstrations will be provided on various group classes, like ensembles, music theory, and more.

• See performances: Watch current adult students showcase their talents in classical and jazz performances.

• Interact with faculty, other music enthusiasts, and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks including beer and wine.
