Maison 1729: From The Vineyards of Champagne to The High Line

Join The House of Ruinart at Maison 1729: From the Vineyards of Champagne to The High Line, an immersive pop-up experience exploring the intersection of art and sustainability and celebrating Ruinart’s commitment to conscious luxury. Situated in the heart of Chelsea, just steps from The High Line, Maison 1729 will open to the public for the first time the weekend of the Frieze Art Fair in New York and will run through the end of June, exploring Ruinart’s vision as the conscious and contemporary jewel of champagne.
In collaboration with Maison Ruinart through this year’s Carte Blanche program, artist Eva Jospin’s work will be showcased in the United States for the first time at this exhibit. Guests are welcome to come in and enjoy Jospin’s ‘PROMENADE(S)’, an immersive piece inspired by the Champagne region and Maison’s history to create a mineral and plant landscape and devotion to art that fosters a deeper understanding of our connections to nature. Open to many different interpretations, the installation evokes a promenade through the Champagne region of France.

Tours
Ruinart and the High Line will offer free, public tours that highlight a shared commitment to sustainability and horticulture. In addition to learning about the commitments of Ruinart and the High Line to creating a balanced native ecosystem, visitors will be able to contribute to the effort with a gift of seeds for Butterfly Weed. By planting this wildflower native to Manhattan, guests can help show their commitment to building a sustainable future. Register here.
