Mother Grains: Recipes for the Grain Revolution with Roxana Jullapat

Head baker and owner of beloved Los Angeles bakery Friends & Family Roxana Jullapat joins with a class on baking with heirloom grains and lessons from her debut cookbook, Mother Grains: Recipes for the Grain Revolution.

Join her as she demos two of her most popular recipes — her irresistible crispy on the outside, tender on the inside rye chocolate chip cookies, and her brownie-like chocolate dynamite cookies made with dark rye flour, cocoa powder, and bittersweet chocolate chips. Roxana also shares background on these ancient grains and the ways they unlock flavor and texture without adding heaviness — opening up a whole new world of baking.
