New York Times Games ‘Puzzle Mania’ Drop

Each December, New York Times Games puzzle editors reveal their most anticipated puzzles of the year in Puzzle Mania, the annual special section in the print edition of the Sunday paper. Solvers nationwide race to purchase the paper the day it is published — and request more ways to find copies, as they disappear from newsstand shelves within hours.

This year, in response to fan love, they’re unleashing free copies far and wide, in a series of U.S. regions that showcase a passion for puzzling — from major cities to some of the farthest corners of the country, where a print paper can be hardest to find.

In New York City  starting December 1st while copies of Puzzle Mania last (*contact locations for update on inventory), fans can snag Puzzle Mania and gather with friends and family to solve together at:

• Vesuvio Bakery (Moynihan Train Hall) – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Vesuvio Bakery (Soho) – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Vesuvio Bakery (Hell’s Kitchen) – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Cafe Grumpy at Grand Central Terminal – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Katz’s Delicatessen – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Revelie – Sunday, Dec. 1st
• Golden Diner – Monday, Dec. 2nd
• Montague Diner – Monday, Dec. 2nd
• The New York Public Library (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library) – Monday, Dec. 2nd
