NYC Winter Lantern Festival 2022

The NYC Winter Lantern Festival is composed of 4 different fests through out Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island.

Illuminate The Farm @ Queens County Farm, Queens, NY
November 1st- January 8th

Come join the annual Winter Lantern Festival for the second year as we transform Queens County Farm into an immersive world of light! This is one of four events Winter Lantern Festival will be hosting in New York. Enter and wander an unforgettable radiant oasis with friends and family.

This experience will be a dazzling display of lights and illuminated Chinese lanterns; all handmade by artisans. Expect a luminescent display consisting of lanterns inspired by theme parks and Chinese myths and legends. In addition, there will be various illuminated tunnels, illuminated swings (rideable), and plethora of other lights! Be prepared to indulge yourself, friends, and family, for photo ops!

With over 150,000 annual guests, this is an unforgettable festival of lights that you absolutely don’t want to miss. This year’s event will be better than last year!

Journey To The East @ SIUH Community Park, Staten Island, NY
October 21st- January 8th

The annual Winter Lantern Festival is back for a FOURTH year to transform SIUH Community Park (new venue) into an immersive world of light! This is one of four events Winter Lantern Festival will be hosting in New York. Starting from 10/21/2022 until 1/08/2023, Journey To The East with friends and family to explore the wonders of over 1000 Chinese lanterns; all handmade by artisans. Our lanterns and light displays will light the night and bring warmth this holiday season!
