Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day 2023

Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day is an annual car-free event hosted by NYC DOT. Programming is presented at signature locations citywide, to promote activism and education surrounding climate change, sustainability, and other relevant topics.

Through the support of Lyft, Citi Bike will offer free unlimited 30-minute rides on a classic Citi Bike on Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day. All riders may take advantage of the offer by using the promo code CARFREE23 in the Citi Bike app.

There will be more than thirty locations across the city taking part in Car-Free Earth Day, including seven Signature Locations and twenty-three Open Street locations across the five boroughs. Featuring activities, workshops, and presentations.
