A day-long celebration of all things Queens is happening (where else?!) in Flushing Meadows Corona Park! From morning to night, there will be family-friendly activities, giveaways, concerts, and more.
Activities at the Queens Day Festival Hub:
- Crafts and Summer Activities from NYC Parks’ Queens Recreation team (11am-3pm)
- The Queens Public Library’s Mobile Library (12-3pm)
- Queens Jazz Trail Concert Series from the Kupferberg Center for the Arts, featuring Ali Bello & the Charanga Syndicate at the Unisphere (2pm)
- World Arts Performances by the Queens College School of Arts: CarNYval Dancers (11am) and the Javier Madrazo Quartet (12:30pm)
- Artmaking activities on the Queens Museum’s front lawn (11am-3pm)
- NYSCI: Design. Make. Play. in the Park! (11am-3pm)
- World’s Fair Walking Tours from the Alliance for FMCP (11am & 1:30pm)
- Zumba from the Alliance’s Summer Fitness program (10am-11am)

- Exclusive merchandise for sale from the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona Park
- Volunteer opportunities and more from Let’s Green NYC
- Learn about swim classes and fitness opportunities from Queens Recreation

- All-ages Tennis Clinics at the USTA’s Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (11am-3pm)
- Intermediate canoeing with the NYC Parks Urban Park Rangers, embarking at Baseball Field 13 (11am-12:30pm)
- Free mini golf for kids (17 and under) at the Flushing Meadows Golf Center (9am-2pm)
- Soccer Activations from NYCFC’s Street Team (10am-2pm)
- Beginner’s rowing lessons from Row New York at the Meadow Lake Boathouse; registration required: email events@rownewyork.org (8:30am, 9:30am & 10:30am)
- Queens Day Skate Jam from the Skate Park Project and Harold Hunter Foundation at Maloof Skate Park (12pm-4pm)
- Wildlife Conservation and Animal Fun at the Queens Zoo (9:30am-3:30pm)
The festivities will culminate in a free concert from the Roots! Brought to you by the City Parks Foundation’s Capital One Summerstage.
