Rainforest Cafe Pop-up at Empire State Building

On April Fools’ Day, the Empire State Building announced on their social platforms that a new Rainforest Cafe would open at the top of the famed building. After massive interest and quick reactions from fans online, they are pleased to announce a limited-time pop-up with Rainforest Cafe on the iconic 86th Floor Observatory.

Fans of the nostalgic jungle-themed restaurant will have access to limited edition Rainforest Cafe x ESB merchandise and special food offerings. The April Fools’ Day announcement included the limited-edition “Empire Special” menu that featured the popular Rasta Pasta and an exclusive “Concrete Jungle” cocktail as part of a “grand-opening” prank.

Guests can purchase Rainforest Café’s most popular dishes as they take in the views from the iconic 86th Floor Observatory. This pop-up will serve favorites such as the Blue Mountain Chicken Caprese Sandwich, which features grilled lemon chicken, fresh arugula, and creamy mozzarella cheese topped with a balsamic reduction, as well as the crowd-pleasing Rasta Pasta, a vibrant dish with tender chicken, red peppers, spinach, parmesan cheese, and a zesty basil pesto vinaigrette.
