Slick Rick Birthday Celebration at Brooklyn Bowl ‘Presented by Hudson Whiskey NY’

Lasting through four decades and six presidencies, Slick Rick endures as “the most sampled hip-hop artist in history” with GRAMMY® Award nominations and numerous multi-platinum albums to his name. He’ll be bringing his smooth and didactic flow to the Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg to deliver a performance that lives up to his title as “Hip-Hop’s Greatest Storyteller.”

Emigrating from London to the Bronx, Slick Rick has worked with hip-hop and R&B heavyweights and titans including Alicia Keys, JAY-Z, Missy Elliott, OutKast, Mos Def, and more. Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, J. Cole, and Big Sean have all sampled his work in their songs. Rick raps about youth incarceration, poverty, and the Black Lives Matter protests and movements.
