The Roller Rink at The Standard

This spring, The Standard debuts The Roller Rink at The Standard, High Line, a brand-new seasonal activation on The Standard Plaza. Take a visually immersive trip into a 1960’s Mod-inspired rink and restaurant, with black turf and playful seating surrounding the bright white skating rink.

For skaters and non-skaters alike, the rink menu will feature tasty bites such as Disco Fries, Fried Chicken, The Standard Hot Dog, and Nachos. Cocktails can also be sipped from a wearable drink pouch, allowing for hands-free fun as you cruise around the rink.

The Roller Rink brings life to the hotel’s Plaza space, celebrating all forms of skate culture. Weekly programming and events will include silent-skate nights, disco parties, burlesque, drag shows, and designated kids- and adult-only skate hours.

Rental skates are available for all guests in the Skate Shack. For those ready to take their skating skills up a notch, a collection of Roller Rink t-shirts, bandanas, tube socks and patches will be sold alongside a special collection of skates from our friends at Brooklyn- and Portland-based skate shop, Five Stride.
