What’s the craziest cocktail you’ve ever had? Have you ever had a cotton candy cocktail?! Well Haswell Green’s serves them up, and we got a taste and more during their preview night on Tuesday June 19th.
Located in the heart of Times Square’s Theater District, the new venue/restaurant/bar by the PMAC group has awoken. You may recognize them from Haswell’s sister bars around the city, primarily in Times Square/Hell’s Kitchen neighborhoods: Tanner Smith’s, Vida Verde, Dutch Fred’s, Mean Fiddler and the Three Monkey’s.
The location for this new spot is so FETCH, as it is right across the street from the new Mean Girl’s on Broadway! It’s a cozy spot with a lot of quirky designs, which are made to be reminiscent of the time Mr. Haswell Green, one of the people responsible for Central Park, the Bronx Zoo, the American Museum of Natural History and many other projects. It also includes a space for their house band, so they host parties.
The food is simply delicious. They have a full menu, designed by Chef David Coleman, featuring some twists on American classics like pizza, burgers, wings and on the healthier side of the food chain, house made salads.
Formidable drinks are also available at Haswell Green’s, featuring cocktails, beers and wines as seen in the menu below. The cocktails themselves all have their own personality within it’s name and ingredients. The Silver Screen is true to its name, by even including a small popcorn on the side. The bartenders are well knowledged and can craft different cocktails off the menu with ease. You can view the food and drink menus here as well.
