Outdoor movie season is here in NYC! We’ve rounded up the best outdoor movie series to experience all summer long! Free movie nights on Intrepid’s flight deck are back! Free Astronomy nights will also take place on July 25th. Museum programming, other than Movie and Astronomy nights, is postponed through this summer.

The Museum will resume monthly summer Free Fridays in 2026. Every day, NYC residents receive a 50 percent discount on admission to the Intrepid Museum. For free Movie Nights, only the flight deck will be accessible to the public. Light concessions will be sold onsite, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
