Earlier this month, the Meatpacking District hosted the 5th annual Open Market fundraiser to celebrate the business community at Highline Stages.
The night was co-hosted by district icons: Diane von Furstenberg, Founder of DVF; Andrew Rosen, Founder of Theory; Gary Kline, CEO of Highline Stages; and Mazdack Rassi, Creative Director of Milk, the evening marked the unofficial beginning of the spring season with a bang. Coco & Breezy DJed the night.
Mingling alongside residents and friends of the district were several industry heavyweights from fashion, hospitality, technology and art including:

Lisle Richards, The Metric
The night also included more than 40 business vendors, 350+ guests and raised over $230,000 in ticket & raffle sales to benefit the Meatpacking district. 100% of the proceeds go to the Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA), the non- profit business alliance of the area and will be specifically earmarked for the capital upgrade of the district’s streetscape, called the 14th Street Master Plan.
