It’s unfathomable to us that we didn’t know there was an NYC Cake Show within the past 4 years. The 5th Annual NYC Cake Show is coming up on June 10-11 at Pier 36 and is taking on Broadway as its theme. Cakes galore, demos, competitions and more await all those who plan to attend.
Lisa Mansour’s Annual NY Cake Show goes from 9am until 6pm and has a great schedule planned. Demos are lead Mansour herself, who we can personally attest is a great teacher.Visitors and aspiring bakers can learn to make cake pops, fun cakes designed with fondant, macaron animals and more. There are even classes catered to kids!
General Admission tickets start at $15 for kids and go up to $30 for full days for adults. Demos are $125.
This year’s new element is a cake competition. Pastry chefs and bakeries from around the city will present cakes representing Broadway Shows like Lion King, Cats, School of Rock and more favorites from a list curated by the show. In addition to the eye-poppers, there’s a cupcake bar to satisfy your mouth-watering needs.
