Celebrate Día de Muertos, Oaxacan-style, at the Museum.
Join us for a Mexican verbena featuring a night full of traditional Oaxacan food, drinks, and music, as well exclusive access to the Day of the Dead Altar installation dedicated to extinct animal species in the Hall of Biodiversity.
Performances for the evening include Mexican beats by DJ PUMA (CDMX), a special poetry jam-style performance of traditional literary calavera poems by Nuyorican Poets Café artists, and a live set by Oaxacan singer Geo Meneses.
The Museum’s Día de Muertos Festival is presented in collaboration with the Mexican State of Oaxaca, an invited cultural partner.
