Submerge is an immersive installation inspired by Pantone Color of the Year 2020- PANTONE 19-4052 CLASSIC BLUE, opening just in time for New York Fashion Week.
Curated and produced by ARTECHOUSE’s creative team in collaboration with Intus Interactive Design. Submerge is an extension of the experience the team developed for Pantone’s highly successful COY reveal event in December 2019.
Imprinted in our psyches as a restful color, PANTONE 19-4052, Classic Blue, brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit. Submerge seeks to do the same, offering visitors a chance to truly feel the effects of Classic Blue as they dive into the familiar, calm and confident tone. This installation submerges the viewer into the color’s boundless inspirations: the sky just before sunset, the vastness of deep, serene ocean waters, infinite reflections in the rain, encouraging us to think more deeply and increase our perspective and flow of communication.
The Plug: Runs February 5th to February 23rd. Located in Chelsea Market at 439 W 15th Street. Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 10am – 10pm, and Friday and Saturday 10am-11pm. Tickets for Adults (Ages 15-64) are $24, Children (Ages 2-14) $17, and Students, Seniors (65+), Military $20. The suggested exploration time is 45-60 mins.
