On Tuesday, May 15, Belvedere Vodka launched its newest expression (flavor), Ginger Zest, with a party at NoMo Kitchen, a restaurant offering an American menu with Mediterranean influences, and with one of the most breathtaking venues in the city from the long entrance lined with beautiful greenery to the all glass pristine structure.

The evening was hosted by wellness expert and chef Candice Kumai, who partnered with Belvedere Vodka on the launch, by creating flavorful and health-conscious recipes that compliment Belvedere Ginger Zest cocktails.
Belvedere Vodka was joined by Kate Mara (Actress), Nina Agdal (Model) with boyfriend Jack Brinkley Cook in tow, Jussie Smollett (Actor), Tommy DiDario (On-Air Contributor), Coco & Breezy (Designers), and other NYC notables and VIPs who celebrated the launch of its newest flavor, Ginger Zest. Surrounded by the sounds of a live DJ, guests sipped on refreshing Ginger Zest cocktails including the Ginger Zest Spritz, Luxury Pineapple, Blackberry Collins and Horse’s Neck. Music was also spun all night by Quiana Parks.
At the event Candice Kumai toasted to the lively crowd and had them sample dishes that paired with the Ginger Zest signature cocktails by Belvedere’s brand ambassador Brian Stewart. The evening featured many interactive moments including a stunning live wall consisting of lemons, ginger, limes and grapefruit – all ingredients Ginger Zest is made with.

Cocktail Recipes
Ginger Zest Spritz
1 oz Belvedere Ginger Zest
.75 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Honey Syrup
4 oz Soda Water
Build in spritz glass. Garnish with ginger and lime slices.
Blackberry Collins
1.5 oz Belvedere GingerZest
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juiice
.75 oz Simple Syrup
3 oz Ginger Beer
4-5 Blackberries
Place blackberries into shaker and muddle. Add remaining ingredients except ginger beer. Shake, strain into glass, and top with ginger beer. Garnish with blackberry and mint sprig.
Horse’s Neck
1.5 oz / 45 ml Belvedere Ginger Zest
0.5 oz / 15 ml Dry Vermouth
2 oz / 60 ml Ginger Ale
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
Coil long grapefruit twist around inside of a tall glass, then fill with ice. Add remaining ingredients and top with ginger ale.
Luxury Pineapple
2 oz Belvedere Ginger Zest
1 oz Pineapple
.5 Lemon
.5 oz Honey Syrup
5 Dashes Angostura bitters
Place all ingredients in shaker and shake. Strain and fine strain into coupe glass.
