When you think of beer, a mansion probably isn’t the first thing to come to mind. Usually you think brewery, bar, kegs, and the like.

Brooklyn Brewery took hipster to a whole new level. They filled the Beer Mansion, held at The Monto & The Well Bushwick this past weekend, with different varieties of their signature brews, served in tiny wine glasses alongside some killer eats.

Each room had a different theme. Like Tart of the Tropics, The Forest, The Stoop, The Darkness and The Anatomy of Beer. With experiential elements throughout, each room also served different types of beer like pale ales and dark stouts, among others. There was definitely a little something for everyone.

The food options were helmed by Eater and included pastrami dogs from Frankel’s Delicatessen, pizza from Roberta’s and Vietnamese eats from Bunker. There were also some great samples from Marcelli Formaggi cheese, Slant Shack jerky and McClure’s pickles- who also had  makeshift Bloody Mary’s on hand for those who were less beer inclined.

As for activities, spin art and paint by the number beer murals were accompanied by edible spin art and shirts for sale. The outdoor area had games like bean bag toss, Jenga and a brewery-inspired arcade game. There was even a live band! Other fun additions included haiku writing and and a photo booth with some cool props.

Beer Mansion took place over one weekend, but it’s sure to come back if the crowd was any indication. It will also take stops in other cities, including London, Paris, Philly, Chicago, D.C., and Boston!
