Italian Restaurant, Marble Downtown officially opened its doors last month, and we invited to join in on the festivities.
The night was co-hosted by Academy Award winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr., and top Publicist Anna Rothschild. As we entered the upscale venue, we found ourselves in the front room which included long bar, with decorative lights hanging overhead. Continuing to the back, we snapped a few instaworthy shots with the infinity mirror, imprinted with the Marble logo.
We then found ourselves with a full buffet (ice sculpture included) lining the back section, with Ian Mellencamp spinning all night.
Towards the end of the night Cuba stood upon the back table, and made a heartfelt speech about Boyz n the Hood Director John Singleton, and how instrumental he was in the beginning of his career. Chris Cardillo, the owner of Marble Downtown also joined, and the two thanked the crowd for celebrating the opening of Marble Downtown with them. Young Paris, who is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, then gave us a little listen of his Afro Beats tracks, with a live performance.
