The LuminoCity Festival is back with a stunning holiday spectacular of light sculptures, with a brand new theme and never-before-seen art installations for the 2020 holiday season!
LuminoCity will offer visitors a unique opportunity to venture through a wonderland of fantastical ancient civilizations, lush luminated jungles, and mystical towering light art displays. LuminoCity will be sure to Light the Night over New York City this holiday season. The sparkling light park invites visitors on a 30-45 minute walking, narrative journey which brings to life chapters of an original story starring Lumi, a magical light bulb and the host of the festival. Guests will be transported to different dreamlike worlds all while uncovering a beautiful tale of love, loss, and life illustrated by the stunning installations.
In addition to wandering through 10 acres of the enchanting light park, festival-goers can visit these top 2020 experiential additions:
• “Pop Culture” area: visitors will encounter 12 light sculptures of famous cat & dog influencers – including @smoothiethecat – reimagined as the 12 zodiac constellations which play a role in the overarching Lumi adventure story.
• The Lumi Gift Shop with an array of merchandise perfect for holiday gifts and take-home memories. The limited-edition Lumi Night Light will be an extra special memento, as guests can carry a spark of light back with them after the event.
• An array of NYC Food trucks will be on-site and lined up to offer warm treats.
• A glistening Christmas Tree decked with bulbs, making the perfect backdrop for holiday photos and Instagram posts.

The Plug: LuminoCity Festival will take place November 27th, 2020- January 10th, 2021 on Randall’s Island (20 Randalls Island Park). The grounds will be open 4-10 pm, and gates close at 9:30 pm.
This immersive outdoor event will be a festive, socially-distanced, and timed-entry experience for guests of all ages. View their COVID-19 response here. A limited number of tickets will be available for each designated time slot. Time slots will be strictly enforced to maintain capacity. Tickets must be purchased online, as there is no on-site box office due to health & safety protocols.

• GA+ Light the Night – $55 – Includes express check-in for faster entry, a complimentary
Lumi Night Light, glow-in-the-dark wristband, and 15% off at the LuminoCity Festival gift shop (on-site only)
• Kids (ages 3-12) – $17 – Children under 3 are free
• Student – $25 – Any student ID from an academic institution is valid
• Senior – $25 – Must have valid ID upon admission
