European Flare and Fare from Mr. C Seaport and it’s Restaurant, Bellini

The Seaport District of Manhattan has recently seen new businesses in the form of shops, restaurants and even hotels move into its quarters. Last week, had the pleasure of visiting, Mr. C Seaport, more notably dinner from its in house classic and contemporary Italian restaurant, Bellini.

Mr. C Seaport

With views of the East River and its elegant design, one can say it’s easy to rest well at Mr. C Seaport. The lobby is fully equipped with a bar and serves daily “appertivo” to its guests which is also known as the afternoon tea.

Its 66 rooms features white detailing throughout, like the beautiful marble found in its bathrooms. With ample space, you get to take in the real New York, for depending on which way your room is facing, you can take in views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the East Side River or the NYC skyline.

European service and luxury amenities mean that the space is ultra welcoming, including an in house gym and outdoor terrace. The cobblestone streets that is part of the seaport culture, also gives the hotel an old country feel.

Bellini

The restaurant space is elegantly designed along with a kind wait staff, adding to an overall great experience.

The restaurant boasts divine rustic Italian dishes. With its exquisite antipasti, secondi, aperitif and dessert options. Some highlights from the menus were the signature Bellini cocktail and Mr. C cocktail. As for the food, the spaghetti hit the SPOT, and the crudo was fresh and tasty. The tiramisu was unlike any others I’ve had tried and the raspberry sauce complimented the lemon pie perfectly.

The Cipriani brothers have also expanded the Mr C. hotels brand to other parts of the country, of course Mr. C Seaport in NYC, but also the Coconut Grove in South Florida, Mr. C Residences and another hotel in Beverly Hills. You will always be welcome to try its locations, promising some of the best views and service.
