On Wednesday, February 15th we got the chance to explore the new up and coming restaurant and bar serving up New American Classics, Atlantic Social! A new edition to The Three Kings Restaurant Group, and located right across the street from the Barclays Center, Atlantic Social welcomed us for a night of tastings.
The Decor
Designed by David Massoni and John Bush, and unabashedly Brooklyn, most of the artwork displayed is reminiscent of Brooklyn and showcased it’s history. The space is very much useful as a sports bar, as sport teams flags are displayed on the walls, so anyone can enjoy while watching a game. The restaurant is also equipped with a back area and a game room which features a fireplace, taxidermy, video games and table shuffleboard.

The Food
There were many dishes to choose from, including enticing sandwiches/burgers and seasonal pastas, a favorite of Chef Dale Talde. We however explored some of their delicious appetizers, our favorite being the re-envisioned General Tso’s wings, which is had a refreshing take on the original. Other savory appetizers included the Detroit pan pizza which was crisped to perfection along with the Creole BBQ Shrimp, and meatball sliders. There was definitely something for every kind of palate.

The Drinks
We sampled some amazing cocktails. These finely curated mixed drinks were served to us by some of the most amazing and detail oriented bartenders. The three we tried were the Brooklyn Mule, Miranda’s Right and the Whiskey Ginger Smash.

Atlantic Social is located at 673 Atlantic Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
Serving dinner seven days a week, Sunday through Thursday from 5pm-12am, Friday and Saturday, and 5pm-2am. Keep a look out for lunch and brunch service will be added down the road!
