KOVASKY Fashion Show by Minika Ko is a must see NYFW spectacle of runway, art, dance, live music, and fashion coming together to honor the heroine inside every woman.
Sponsored by the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of New York (TCCNY), the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of New York invites you to join us for this showcase of Taiwanese talent in art, music, dance, and fashion with this New York Fashion Week event.
The show opens with a capsule collection entitled Knockout. Featuring original art by the Ukiyo-e tattoo artist, Horiyo, the designs channel Eastern culture’s symbols of strength with traditional embroidery. The collection emphasizes artisanship with each piece crafted to be wearable art. The second part of the show is KOVASKY, a high performance ready-to-wear clothing line that combines fashion and functionality. Designed for the power woman on the go, the collection highlights confident femininity in edgy and flexible outfits for the power woman on the go.
Guests will enjoy live music performed by the New Asia Chamber Music Society (NACMS), a group of young virtuosi committed to bringing audiences exceptional performances of the chamber music repertoire, drawn from the canon of western music as well as contemporary Asian culture.
Door opens at 6PM to the red carpet for photo opportunities. Drinks and refreshments will be served.
Following the show, our artists will host an interactive panel discussion where you can get a special peek behind the curtain and learn how these incredible talents work and create.
