Artist James Goldcrown, known for his ‘Lovewall’ murals will be doing a live painting Monday March 6th. He is one of the creative minds behind the special capsule t-shirt line and mural for Rag & Bone x Neiman Marcus. The mural reflects unity, love and equality and our planet earth.
“I feel very strongly about today’s current affairs, one of them being how we are destroying the planet. This mural is a message about how we have to come together first so that we treat each other equally…then only can we protect our planet,” says Goldcrown.
The t-shirt will be available in Women’s cut only at all Neiman Marcus CUSP locations and online site from 3/16/17 – 3/19/17. It’s ONLY with gift with purchase on $500+ and NOT sold individually.
About James:
James Goldcrown is a self-taught artist/photographer based in New York. In 2007, James Goldcrown moved to New York and re-entered the fashion world. He began incorporating mixed media into his photography influenced by his previous days as a street artist in the early 90’s. In 2014, James Goldcrown started a workshop called The Shed Project which allowed people to interact in his studio space. In 2015, he had his first show at Miami Basel where his work sold out in 2 hours.
James Goldcrown is now known internationally for his Bleeding Hearts/Lovewall murals that can be seen around New York, California, Texas, Miami & Chicago. The Lovewall has led him to work with brands and companies such as, Toms, L’Oreal, Island Records, Universal, MTV, Vogue, Bandier, Rimowa Luggage, Henri Bendel, Armani and many more. His work is also sold privately around the world.
