If you didn’t get your chance last year, Mars Wrigley Confectionery Sweet ReTREAT: Refresh Lounge, a FREE candy-inspired salon, is on its way back to NYC just in time for another Valentine’s Day.
The pop-up first made its appearance last year around the same time, offering free candy-inspired makeovers to New Yorkers lucky enough to book a slot ahead of time. And more excitingly, they offered all visitors the option to grab as much free candy as humanly possible, which around Valentine’s Day is even more enticing than usual.
On February 13th and 14th,12-8pm daily, they’re giving the pop-up a new address at 111 Grand Street in SoHo and a Minty Fresh revamp, espousing the popular mint treats they offer, just in time for one of the most popular date nights of the year.
Among the offerings are manicures inspired by the bold colors of Skittles and minty fresh Orbit & Extra gum and mints, Makeup inspired by TWIX bars, Extra gum, SNICKERS bars, and BIG RED gum, Hair (including beard trimmings) inspired by the essence of Altoids mints and HUBBA BUBBA bubble gum, and mini massages.
If it’s anything like last year, it will be decked out with candy in packages both big and small like all the flavors of Dove chocolate, various gums and mints, Skittles, M&M’s and more.
