I got the chance to visit Coffeemania NYC, a new upscale restaurant located right across from Bryant Park (at the corner of 40th Street and 6th Avenue). Coffeemania NYC opened its doors (the 1st in NYC) this past December and I can definitely say I will be back!

Having 27 locations throughout Moscow, Coffeemania is definitely not a new concept.  Focusing on fresh foods with worldly tastes, which provide comfort not only with your eyes, but also your taste buds.

Everything is prepared in an open kitchen format with Executive Chef Titus Wang, who has been included in Zagat’s “30 under 30,” and team at the helm. Focusing on the seasonality of fresh and tasty ingredients, Coffeemania NYC also differs from many other restaurants as it houses a Josper grill to prepare its meat, fish and veggie dishes which allows the flavor profiles to really come through.

Even the decor screams warmth like its European counterparts, with use of beautiful wood, metal, and lighting, with nearly floor to ceiling windows looking out to the park. You can even chat with the bartenders and baristas at the bar.

Now let’s get to fun part. The food! While at Coffeemania NYC I got the chance to indulge in:

Let not forget the cocktails! Almost looked to pretty to drink, but damn they were tasty!

As for dessert which features delicate and delicious patisserie, all of it is made in house. Instead of the standard selection from the menu, we were escorted the kitchen area where desserts were already laid out for us to pick from, which I thought this was really cool and different!

It took me a while to decide which sweets to enjoy, but I decided to go with the Cento per Cento, Chocolate Envy and Pannochka.

Don’t forget  pair your dessert with a coffee or hot drink. I went with the Scotch “Pâte á Bombe” which is pretty much scotch infused espresso…Caffeine and Whiskey, two of my best friends. I also had no problem getting the down low on certain items of the menu, as the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Coffeemania NYC is currently open for lunch and dinner. Also looking for some breakfast eats? That option will be available soon, featuring toasts and egg dishes and sweet and savory blinis.

This being said, you can drop by Coffeemania NYC any time of the day to take in more than the food, but the atmosphere as well.
