Lightbox, a next-generation experience incubator in NYC, is launching the city’s first-ever live game show experience called Game of 1000 Boxes in partnership with show creators State Lottery Studios. Part game show, part audio-visual thrill ride, the interactive experience offers teams of four a series of challenges!

Lightbox’s 360-degree digital projections deliver a one-of-a-kind experience, where no two shows are exactly the same.

Game of 1000 Boxes takes you and your team through a roller coaster of high-energy party games that blend teamwork, reaction time, solving puzzles, trivia, social strategy, and more!

To adapt to COVID regulations, guests will be required to wear a mask upon entering. Guests will also need to fill out a digital health screening form before entering the show for contact tracing, take a temperature check, wear masks at all times, and sanitize their hands, and/or wear gloves before playing. Social distancing rules are in place with the venue operating less than 10% capacity. Lightbox has installed MERV13 HVAC filters and UV lights for continuous fresh air flow with game consoles disinfected between every session.

The Plug: The Game of 1000 Boxes will take place at Lightbox 248 West 37th Street (between 7th & 8th Avenues). The ongoing event kicks off April 9th, 2021, and will run Fridays-Sundays, at various times. The Game of 1000 Boxes will be open to the public $140 for teams of 4, $35 per person. Each game will also have four teams of 4, which includes your team.
