About the Artist
Stu Watson is a Brooklyn-based painter, printmaker, and performance artist. His woodcuts and monotypes have been featured in a show curated by the Rockaway Artist Alliance in Fort Tilden, New York, whileprints have also appeared in Fjords Review and Lavender Review.
Decomposition harnesses the action of entropy, things’ tendency to move towards disorder, in such a way as to produce evocative, semi-figurative images suggestive of the underlying organization within even, systemic breakdown.
