Learn a fun new summer time recipe and what to do with a wide variety of greens or some of those trickier vegetables like zucchini. Pick up tips on how to store fresh herbs or how to make the the most of root vegetables. Come on up if you are dying to get that first taste of summer!
This event is part of our weekly open house. Every Saturday May through October we host an open house at our Flagship farm in Long Island City, Queens. There’s no need to register in advance and no charge–just come on by between 11am and 4pm, and you can visit the chickens, buy some farm-fresh produce, get your hands dirty alongside our farm team, or simply enjoy the fresh air! Families be sure to visit on a Family Farm Day, the third Saturday of every month, when City Growers hosts its FREE family-friendly workshops and children’s activities!
